Position Summary

Run our paint desk. Tint it, match it, and help people pick the right product and finish so the job comes out right the first time.

Thompson's Station Hardware is hiring one Paint Associate, full-time or part-time, at our store at 1900 Lewisburg Pike in Franklin, TN, ahead of the grand opening.

What you'll do

• Tint and mix paint and stain to formula on the shaker and dispenser.
• Color match customer samples and log formulas so re-tints are exact.
• Guide customers to the right product, sheen, and quantity, plus prep and sundries.
• Keep the tint station clean, calibrated, and accurate.
• Stock and organize the paint aisle, chip racks, and color displays.
• Watch base and colorant inventory and flag reorders early.
• Cover the sales floor and register when the paint desk is quiet.

A good fit

You're detail-oriented and careful with measurements, and you like solving a problem with a customer rather than just handing them a can. Paint or coatings experience is a plus. We'll train you on tinting either way. You are comfortable lifting five-gallon buckets.

Pay

$16–$20 per hour.
