Positions Available

Who We're Hiring For

Ten openings across the store, full-time and part-time. Hardware experience is welcome but not required — we train.

1 opening Full-time

Assistant Manager

Second in command. You'll run the store shoulder-to-shoulder with the Store Manager — and run it on your own when they're off.

What you'll do

  • Open and close the store and lead the day-to-day operation of every department
  • Build schedules, train new hires, and coach the team on customer service
  • Oversee receiving, cycle counts, ordering, and stock levels
  • Hold the line on merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness
  • Own customer questions and complaints and resolve them on the spot
  • Work with the Store Manager on sales goals, margin, shrink, and payroll

A good fit if: you have three or more years in retail with at least one supervising a team, you're comfortable on a POS and in a spreadsheet, and you'd rather be on the floor than in an office. Knowledge of tools, paint, plumbing, or building materials is a real plus.

1 opening Full-time

Department Supervisor

Own one part of the store end to end — hardware and tools, plumbing and electrical, or lawn and garden — and be the person customers get sent to.

What you'll do

  • Keep your department full, faced, priced, and easy to shop
  • Set planograms, endcaps, and seasonal resets for your area
  • Place orders, check in freight, and manage inventory levels and returns
  • Train associates on the products in your department so they can help without you
  • Walk projects with customers and get them everything the job needs
  • Partner with management on promotions and department sales goals

A good fit if: you have a couple of years of retail behind you, deep working knowledge of at least one hardware category, and the kind of organized streak that notices an empty peg from across the aisle.

7 openings Full-time Part-time

Sales Associate / Cashier

The face of the store. You'll greet neighbors at the door, walk them to what they need, ring them out, and keep the floor looking sharp.

What you'll do

  • Greet and help customers in person and on the phone — walk them to the aisle, don't point
  • Run the register accurately and handle cash, cards, and returns
  • Stock, face, and front merchandise, and help with freight and resets
  • Cut keys, mix paint, and help load bulky purchases into vehicles
  • Keep the store clean, safe, and well organized
  • Learn the products and suggest the rest of what the project needs

A good fit if: you're friendly, dependable, and don't mind being on your feet for a full shift or lifting up to 50 lbs. Evening and weekend availability helps. No hardware background needed — a willingness to learn it does.

1 opening Full-time Part-time

Paint Associate

Run our paint desk. Tint it, match it, and help people pick the right product and finish so the job comes out right the first time.

What you'll do

  • Tint and mix paint and stain to formula on the shaker and dispenser
  • Color match customer samples and log formulas so re-tints are exact
  • Guide customers to the right product, sheen, and quantity, plus prep and sundries
  • Keep the tint station clean, calibrated, and accurate
  • Stock and organize the paint aisle, chip racks, and color displays
  • Watch base and colorant inventory and flag reorders early
  • Cover the sales floor and register when the paint desk is quiet

A good fit if: you're detail-oriented and careful with measurements, and you like solving a problem with a customer rather than just handing them a can. Paint or coatings experience is a plus — we'll train you on tinting either way. Comfortable lifting five-gallon buckets.
